Wrigley Rooftops
The owners of the Sheffield Baseball Club generously donated their rooftop to Big Shoulders Fund to thank the many generous supporters, Patrons and board members. On May 10, 2010 over 250 guests enjoyed a wonderful night marked by great food, drink, ambiance, and most of all, friends interested in helping those less fortunate to aspire to a brighter future. A special thanks to Mr. Tom Gramatis and Mr. Paul Bauch for their generosity and assistance in arranging the event.

The Counter Fundraiser
With the grand opening of The Counter Burger restaurant at 666 W. Diversey in Chicago, the owners Mr. Ross Farro, Ms. Diana Yatson, and Mr. Robert Navarro provided a Big Shoulders Fund day.

All of the proceeds from the restaurant on Thursday, September 18, 2008 went to support the Big Shoulders Fund Auxiliary Board Scholarships. Between the great burgers, to-die-for onion strings, and the wonderful shakes, all of the guests thoroughly enjoyed the day while raising over $7,500 for the cause.

We will be hosting another day coming up.  Check back for the announcement of the day.  Then, bring your friends, family and colleagues out for or pick up a great meal that will enable you to say, I helped out the children by eating burgers today!
